The birth of a new bicycle often stems from the need to satisfy a specific need. However, it is common for the initial idea to be distorted by wrong questions, such as: "How can we create a lighter component? How can we make a stiffer and more aerodynamic frame?" Although these questions are of fundamental importance, their specificity tends to limit the exploration of other possible solutions, focusing the attention of the design process on a limited number of aspects.
In reality, the questions we should be asking ourselves are of a different nature and aim to maximize the overall performance of the bike. Therefore, we should ask ourselves: "How can we achieve higher speeds? How can we optimize energy efficiency? How can we climb faster?" Exploring the true meaning of these questions is the primary goal of Eurocompositi, a company that evaluates the quality of ideas through a project methodology based on "agile".
