Aerodynamics

More and more often we hear about aerodynamics and the importance that the CdA (aerodynamic characteristic of a body or an assembly) has as a parameter for evaluating performance. To meet the needs of the cycling industry, Eurocompositi is equipped with a wind tunnel, specially developed to conduct tests on bike parts or assemblies. This advanced solution, combined with computerized analyses such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD), allows for rapid testing of any 3D printed prototype and previous verification of design quality.


The main advantage of this solution is represented by the speed of test cycles and the lower costs compared to a complete analysis in a traditional wind tunnel.
